Salomon

Salomon is a well known international ski brand founded in 1947, in Annecy, France. The name of the company is based on the founders’, Francois Salomon, his wife and child. Salomon was later incorporated into Adidas in 1997 and in 2005 the company was sold to Amer Sports. Currently, they manufacture Salomon skis and Salomon ski equipment such as Salomon ski hats, Salomon cross country ski boots, Salomon ski bag and Salomon ski bindings.

Salomon skis are known for their durability. These skis were structured to face harsh and rugged conditions of the snow. Salomon ski reviews by current users are very positive with most of them raving about the performance. Some of the users are workers in snow vacation spots and most of the day they test the durability of the Salomon ski as they trudge unpredictable terrains of snow.

Most of these skis are Salomon cross country ski but the durability review is mostly centered on the Salomon x-wing 5 all mountain skis. This ski can face almost any kind of snow terrain. These all mountain skis are built for skiers who face dangerous terrain as part of their regular skiing trips. The next generation all mountain skis – the Salomon x-wing 10 all mountain skis received even more praise for its durability. The same goes for its ski boots – the Salomon cross country ski boots.
Aside from the all terrain for its durability, Salomon Skis also distributes other kinds of skis. Downhill skis, skis for women and gears are also found in various Salomon Ski shops and other retail shops.

It’s easy to get the best equipment from Salomon. The best bargains are available in every shop. To have the best performance in your Salomon, it’s a safe recommendation that you purchase a Salomon as a package and not as a stand alone. Their all terrain skis are definitely a good catch if you have nothing and you need a package. It would surely cost more if you purchase these things one by one. A package is definitely a great steal.

Even online, you can notice the difference. The package (a ski with bindings) will cost less than stand alone products combined. It’s even safer to do that since the package are designed to fit with each other. The only pitfall is that since it is online, the guarantee that it will give your preferred fit is not there. If your local ski shops offer a Salomon package, better grab it before everyone else beats you to it.
